May Nouri Strives to Make a Difference

May Nouri is holding an accounting degree prior to immigration to Canada in 1998. She obtained a degree in Genetics from the University of British Columbia after she immigrated to Canada, soon after her graduation, she realized that she likes working with numbers more than coding DNA. To get her accounting designation, she enrolled with CA School of Business and successfully passed the UFE exam to become a CPA in Canada. She has over 20 years of experience performing tax preparation and tax planning in public accounting.

May has worked for large and small public accounting firms and tax planning firms over this period. She has worked with commercial and individual accounts of various sizes. She has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Tehran. May Nouri holds a Bachelor degree in Genetics from UBC, a Master's degree in Taxation, from Golden Gate University, in which her primary interest has been International Taxation.

May enjoys traveling and loves animals. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, and photography and going to a gym especially she loves kickboxing. May is proud to be Canadian and feels it is her responsibility to give back to the community; throughout her life, May has truly demonstrated a passion for helping people, and her volunteer efforts are numerous.

May takes on any opportunity she can to help out whenever and wherever she can. She believes that “life is not about getting all you hoped for but enough of what you need.”
